Sale Fell is a small hill near Cockermouth in the English Lake District. It is one of the smallest Wainwrights, but is nevertheless popular with locals, as it offers gentle walking and lovely views across Bassenthwaite Lake to Skiddaw.

A gentle circular walk starting from the small car park at Wythop Mill, this route takes you through woodland and open fellside, offering stunning views over Bassenthwaite Lake and the surrounding fells.
This route starts from the Pheasant Inn and takes you up through the forested area of Lothwaite, providing a slightly steeper ascent with rewarding views of the Lake District.
A longer loop that combines both Sale Fell and Ling Fell, offering a more challenging walk with varied terrain and panoramic views of the surrounding fells and lakes.
